Genova anti G8 demo 2001 | Trial against 25 activistes - 225 years of prison demanded by the Public Prosecutors

Genoa, Italy - On October 23rd 2007, after 3 years and half the trial against 25 activistes of the anti G8 2001 in Genoa it is approaching to the first degree final phase.
The Public Prosecutors Canepa and Canciani in their closing arguments demanded 225 yars of prison for all the activistes, from 16 to 6 years each of the 25 demonstrators accused of "devastation and sacking".

Canepa e Canciani think is that the Court has to consider the so-called "moral complicity" of the defendantes.
The Public Prosecutor Canciani underlined that "if there was a massacre inside the school Diaz" than "in the streets of Genoa there was devastation and sacking".

The defending counsels will begin their final speeches of starting on the next November 6th.
